The story "The Australian Connection" tells about Alex, a 18 years old boy searching his father in Australia.
Alex gets his exam results - but before he goes to the university he's going to visit his father Tom in Australian. They've already contacted in letters.
My opinion: A big travel to Australia is very interesting & fun.
Sure, that Alex is excited and a little bit nervous to meet his father.
But I wonder why Alex is contacting his father just now. When he has not seen him for 16 years ?!

but maybe, he was afraid of the reaction of his mother or his father ... ?
however i think, it was a god decision, that he had wrote him a letter !
but i have to say, that it was unfair from tom, to write him back so late ... because alex is his son and he leaved him and his wife, when he was 2 years old !
